Default Denmark's Wind Power Doesn't Come Free

The Windy Denmark Question | OpenMarket.org

You can't store wind, but you can store hot air. Al Gore has an endless supply of the latter.

This is a great illustration of how baseless propaganda is accepted as fact among the masses. Wind power isn't "free."

I am totally convinced, that if you label something green or 'eco friendly', you can swindle 99.9% of the populace, regardless of how much money it will cost people.

This is a good example of that fact. Remember when I stated we looked at wind power so we can get off the grid ? Well, the start up costs of those suckers is very expensive. The payoff period was somewhere around 10-15 years. And that is just for one one. Imagine wind mills for a whole country. Those poor saps will be paying for being green for a very long time, a nice gift for the next generation to go green.

And let's not mention the other negative effects of wind power. For one thing, migratory birds have been known to be caught in the wind mill's blades. This one I can't confirm, but you do need a large sect of land for wind farms. Once you dedicate this large sect of land, can you even use that land for anything else (ie. crop, cattle, ...) ?

Those living by these wind mills I feel sorry for them. You know how you turn on a fan and you can hear the 'whup whup whup' of the blades ? Imagine a dozen or more large fans doing that constantly. I doubt you'll get a good night's sleep at all.

Oh, but despite all that we'll have clean power. *sarcasm*
