You know, I got to thinking the other night (which can be dangerous).
For all of you folks in the media who dedicate your news stories on TV & headlines in the newspaper to making us all feel guilty just for living, I've got a question for you: What's your carbon footprint? Because I have yet to see a single story about how much you're contributing to global warming. After all, "When news happens," you're there. "When news breaks," you're there. "Eyewitness news!" Yadda, yadda, yadda....you & your cheesy advertisements. Blah. Well, what's the cost to the planet of being "there?" You're the ones pushing this bs, so I've got a few questions. How many of these trucks does your station own? ![]() And what's all that stuff inside? How much CO2 is emitted in powering this stuff? Why can't you just use wind power or solar power? ![]() And what about this CO2-emitting monstrosity? ![]() Can't you just do this in the dark? And what the heck is all that crap? Is all of this energy-sucking equipment really necessary??? So again, I ask the media: What is your carbon footprint, you hypocrites?

![]() You made such a good point, they cruise around in their SUVs, fly that chopper, and all that electronic gizmos that suck up energy like no one's business. why are private citizens demonized for using energy when the TV stations use up more than a city block ? hmmmm, recently a news station did a Green crap thing, should I email them and ask them that ?? ![]() |
