Default More Than You Wanted to Know

In the interest of dismissing the usual environmentalist responses to this website, I'll clarify a few things about myself here.

1) I am not funded by an oil company. And I don't work for one.

For all the accusations of my "tired old arguments" on this subject, this one is older than the earth itself, and it's the usual first response. And if this was the first thing that came to mind when you arrived here, maybe you need to flush your head of the bong resin and malt & hops. Or maybe you need a wake-up call on your clue phone.

News flash: I'm not the only private citizen who has become this involved on the skeptics' side of the debate. That might tell you something.

*ring*

2) A little background, and probably more than most of you care to know. Nonetheless, apparently some are curious:

Bachelor of Science - Accounting
Masters Degree - Business Administration
CPA Exam - 2 parts down, 2 to go. God willing, by the end of this year I'll be done.
Web Design - I designed this site myself, and I didn't hire anyone -- it's called "reading." You, too, can design a site like this if you put in the time. However, if your XHTML book is made of hemp, I imagine some of you would rather find some over-sized rolling papers & attempt to smoke it.
Day Job - Controller
Night Job - Father of one, soon to be two. I won't stop until the skeptics have the majority. One hell of a carbon footprint in my household, I can attest.
Hobbies - Bowling (195 average); Musician (gimme a good excuse & I'll record an entire song about you, because I've done it numerous times); an unending thirst for knowledge and the truth.
Accolades - Graduated with honors, former fraternity president, creative writing awards since the day I first grasped a Crayola. If you find my sarcasm overwhelming, so be it. Maybe you can't handle the truth, Jack.
The Goal of this Website - In a word, education. Since only one side of this debate sees the light of day in the mainstream press, I've taken it upon myself to join the fight and combat this greenwashing campaign. If that doesn't work, I've got a backup plan:

The problem with the earth is that it's full of tree-huggers. If I can't get you out, I'll breed you out.

I suppose I could try and follow suit,

Bachelor of Sustainable Environments (Geospatial Information Systems) - First year
Job - During my hoidays back home to the country I work on the family Dairy Farm
Night Job - Coffee drinker
Hobbies - Wargames; History; Writing my honest but unrealistic Manifesto; Listening to Heavy Metal Music in other European languages; Politics; endless nights by Wikipedia gleaning knowledge of often useless things
Accolades - Nowhere near as impressive as yours...I'm just a funny bugger
Goal in joining this Website - Trying to find more of the few willilng to stand up and be counted and to find new ways of dealing with our daily problems in this field through our collective knowledge.

I'm an old-school metal head....from the 80's. I have no shame in admitting I loved the hair bands.

When I started this forum, I initially thought it would be mostly Americans signing up. Now we've got an Australian & a Canadian right out of the gate. I like it.

Now all we need is some folks from Europe, Asia, and South America, and this will be a full-fledged international forum.

Oh, wait...and Antarctica. With global warming & all, I assume developers will be throwing up apartment complexes on the peninsula any month now.

I'm confident this forum will get alot of exposure as time goes on. More and more people everyday are beginning to see the lies that the environmentalists are spewing out.

Bachelor of Science - Zoology
Masters Degree - Why? I can already identify road kill, what more do you want?
Web Design - I paid someone to design my site so I stimulated the economy. I do edit things on it from time to time which makes it necessary for me to call my web designer to fix what I broke.
Day Job - I make aircraft auxiliary fuel tanks.
Night Job - Double-naught spy, and loving it.
Hobbies - Bowling (180 something average and climbing), Skiing, Golf, Hiking Flying. Former Musician (played in a ska band in the early 80's).
Accolades - Graduated without getting expelled even once. Won a couple of state titles in cross country and track.
Why I'm Here - It keeps me off the streets.
