Default foods that are environmentally friendly

Well, with all the stink groups like peta and such are raising about raising livestock and how it contributes to 'global warming', here is a solution those enviro morons can try out :

Edible Insects

As for me, i'm sticking with a good prime rib stick, or even a nice thick pork chop, or better yet fried chicken. They can tell me how yummy a grasshopper or ant larvae tastes.

100 grams of cricket contains: 121 calories, 12.9 grams of protein, 5.5 g. of fat, 5.1 g. of carbohydrates, 75.8 mg. calcium, 185.3 mg. of phosphorous, 9.5 mg. of iron, 0.36 mg. of thiamin, 1.09 mg. of riboflavin, and 3.10 mg. of niacin.

Cricket: It's what's for dinner!

Funny you posted this. A few nights ago I was watching "Everybody Loves Raymond" reruns. I never watched the show when it was still being made. I had no idea how good it was.

Anyways, in this episode I saw, Robert had a hot new girlfriend he invited to dinner. Ray & his wife were cleaning off the table, as was Robert, and this annoying fly wouldn't leave Robert's date alone. She swatted it & it landed on the table.

And when she thought no one was looking, she ate it. Ray was frozen for most of that part of the skit. I was about to hurl from laughing so hard.

No one believed Ray at first, until Robert went home with her and discovered her, uh, frog fetish. Which is why she ate flies.

So if they'd like to eat flies, uh, go right ahead. I'm eating steak.

the guy who wrote that eat bugs article claims bugs are more healthier for a person than eating beef/pork/chicken, plus it is environmentally friendly.

Gotta stop right there, that is reason enough to NOT eat bugs, nothing eco friendly here.

Well, I wish the author of eat bugs well, he can dine on those creepy critters, like you i'm gonna enjoy a nice prime rib steak on the bbq.
