oh man, that is way too funny !!!

Hold on Dennis, because of your diet for steaks the environmentalists have declared farming, especially meat production (ie. cattle, pork, poultry) greatly increases co2 levels thus increasing global warming. So according to the environmentalists, those that consume meat is a contributor to global warming

*no offence, i'm being sarcastic towards the environmentalists*

OK, I'll start eating more cheeseburgers too. Hate to think that my actions makes the greenies upset, it might make 'em choke on their tofu burgers.

I'm going to see if my wife wants to go to a place here in San Diego called Lou and Mickey's tomorrow. It is downtown and is regarded to have perhaps the best steaks in town, and we have Ruth's Chris around here. Not bad company.

I can't stand this, I've probably mentioned my background from a dairying family.

One minute enviro's are trying to prevent hurt/death to animals...now however...meat is murder, cattle are killing the planet! make up your bloody mind

Taxing cow fart -gawd - agricultural product price increase is only one bad thing that will happen, it'll cost farmers more to run farms, less farms will exist, prices will increase MORE due to unavailability of product!
cow fart tax is an insult

PS they should look more into the crops we feed cattle on...they consume more carbon dioxide that the herd produces

AE posted a link/article on the top 5 emitters of co2, and if my memory serves me correctly the 2nd highest was methane from animals, BUT humans breathing was also up there as well. If they are going to tax cow/animal farts, I can see what will come next, a tax on humans breathing, and in some countries (embarrassed to say mine is there) a carbon tax is just that, a tax on breathing.
