saw on the news caption this morning, that the arctic icecaps or the protective ice caps are melting at a much faster rate than anticipated. I'm sure that the scientists/environmentalists will bring up emissions and global warming on this issue very soon.

I've already made my comments about it on LiveScience.com. I suspect their readers don't know that there's an alternative explanation that doesn't fit the global warming agenda.

They mentioned more ice had formed this winter, but made sure to revisit why they thought it had melted in the first place.
