Uganda Heritage News: Global warming reduces tropical cyclones.

Researchers have indicated that adverse wind conditions may reduce the frequency of tropical cyclones due to global warming — but those forming will be stronger.

The findings are contrary to the widely held theory that global warming will increase the frequency of tropical cyclones, known as hurricanes in the Atlantic Ocean.

Always gotta throw in the "but" so the press will pick it up. Nonetheless, it's quite a reversal, which just illustrates that none of this debate was ever "settled."

reading lomborg's book, he even proved with stats that global warming does not contribute to more storms/hurricanes. it just seems that way as the media tends to harp on storms and conveniently blames it on global warming for the storms.

If they bothered to look at history, there were more storms in years past than now.
