Default Consensus?

Hmph.

Don't fight, adapt

Quote:
It is not possible to stop climate change, a natural phenomenon that has affected humanity through the ages. Geological, archaeological, oral and written histories all attest to the dramatic challenges posed to past societies from unanticipated changes in temperature, precipitation, winds and other climatic variables. We therefore need to equip nations to become resilient to the full range of these natural phenomena by promoting economic growth and wealth generation.
Home - Global Warming Petition Project

Quote:
We urge the United States government to reject the global warming agreement that was written in Kyoto, Japan in December, 1997, and any other similar proposals. The proposed limits on greenhouse gases would harm the environment, hinder the advance of science and technology, and damage the health and welfare of mankind.
There is no convincing scientific evidence that human release of carbon dioxide, methane, or other greenhouse gasses is causing or will, in the foreseeable future, cause catastrophic heating of the Earth's atmosphere and disruption of the Earth's climate. Moreover, there is substantial scientific evidence that increases in atmospheric carbon dioxide produce many beneficial effects upon the natural plant and animal environments of the Earth.

This petition has been signed by over 19,000 American scientists

Funny how this stuff never makes the national news. In any nation.

Consensus my ass. The global warming skeptics are growing in number.

i've said this before, the enviro-freaks practically dictate what is mentioned on the news about global climate change. they've brainwashed the media and other mis informed people about global climate change that they can give only one sided information and have people believe that the sky is actually falling.

I also urge americans to denounce kyoto. We signed it and I absolute abhore the fact that we did, denounce it at all costs, do not sign that damn agreement !!

The world and the atmosphere is constantly changing. Why ?? I don't think any scientist can answer that with 100% certainty. It maybe the 8th wonder of the world, however i do know that while man may have abit of an impact, I highly doubt that man has that severe of an impact that these enviro-freaks make us out to be.
