CO2science.org back online -- new DVD

For those who wondered why the link I published wasn't working so that you could read more about their upcoming DVD, well....now we know:

Down but not out!

A week ago we experienced a terrorist-like Denial of Service Attack on our website that rendered it inaccessible to patrons. Unfortunately, the company that managed our website was unable to stop the attack, and we had to make the decision to host our website elsewhere. Moving our website to another server is not a simple task and must take place in stages. For now, only the current weekly issue of CO2 Science will be accessible, followed by a gradual return to full website access and functionality in the coming days and weeks.
For those of you awaiting the release of our DVD Carbon Dioxide and the Climate Crisis, which was advertised on our website shortly before the attack began, that wait will continue for an undetermined amount of time. We apologize for the inconveniences caused by the website attack and our subsequent server move. We hope you will continue to support our efforts and visit us often.

Typical. When their full site comes back up, I'm sure they could use a donation or two....

Summary

Al Gore, former U.S. Vice President and Nobel Peace Prize recipient, calls the host of negative consequences that he predicts will accompany the on-going rise in the air's CO2 concentration "a planetary emergency -- a crisis that threatens the survival of our civilization and the habitability of the earth." James Hansen, Director of NASA's Goddard Institute for Space Studies, similarly claims that the earth "is close to dangerous climate change, to tipping points of the system with the potential for irreversible deleterious effects," and he contends that "ignoring the climate problem at this time, for even another decade, would serve to lock in future catastrophic climatic change."
