Default ANOTHER TOP JAPANESE SCIENTIST DISSENTS: 'Global warming has nothing to do with how much CO2 is prod

Professor Kunihiko Takeda | The Japan Times Online
Global warming has nothing to do with how much CO2 is produced or what we do here on Earth. For millions of years, solar activity has been controlling temperatures on Earth and even now, the sun controls how high the mercury goes. CO2 emissions make absolutely no difference one way or another. Soon it will cool down anyhow, once again, regardless of what we do. Every scientist knows this, but it doesn’t pay to say so. What makes a whole lot of economic and political sense is to blame global warming on humans and create laws that keep the status quo and prevent up-and-coming nations from developing. Global warming, as a political vehicle, keeps Europeans in the driver’s seat and developing nations walking barefoot.

The mrs. sister works for Simon and Schuster, a book publishing company. She can usually get us books for free, so I asked if she can get me Glenn Beck's book, An Inconvient Book, as it states the lies the enviros are spewing about co2 emissions, and what the real truth about co2 is.

Even though I'm not a chemistry major or anything, it doesn't make sense to me that co2 is demonized. For god's sake, we drink that stuff (ie. pop), so how can something that humans have ingested for years now be bad ?

And all mammals breath co2 out. So I find it ironic that enviros are claiming co2 is bad yet that is the very same gas they exhale. If we're all not careful and start to believe these green idiots, I predict one day we'll all be forced to wear gas tanks to capture our co2 emissions and bury it underground too.

You mean SCABA gear?

Self-Contained, Above-water, Breath-capturing Aparatus. Yeah, I could see that.

yeah, so literally i can foresee in the future that breathing will be taxed, or the very least you'll have to pay for the privilege.

Hell, if these enviros are sooo fascinated with cow farts and how to reduce them, it won't be long before they will turn to every living mammal on earth to see how they can reduce its breathing.

Increased CO2 definitely encourages plant growth which is good for those of us who have brains. That would include humans, monkeys, cute lil' bunny rabbits, and even icky things like spiders and bugs. Of course, liberals and greenies find it bad for us, I suppose that is proof that they really don't have brains.

In addition, there is a lot of evidence that CO2 is a consequence, not a cause, of a warming planet.

Given the choice, I would chose a planet that was warmer over a planet that was colder were I to have the power to effect an outcome. Ice Ages pretty much suck. Then again, I have a brain and realize that even given our enormous talents as a species we still can't control the weather.

hey dennis, you're giving way too much credit to the enviros. You're assuming they actually have a conscience and actually care about humanity in general.

After reading some of the books listed on this site, I have come to the conclusion that it is the environmentalists that want to change the weather, not normal people. Most normal people would think "hmmm, how can i lessen the effects of weather ?", but to an environmentalist "hmmm, what can I do today to change the climate ?"

We all know that man can't control the weather. It does what it feels like doing. I don't see how reducing co2 will change anything.

I think many greenies look at humans as nothing more than a virus that has infected Gaia.
