Children should know there is a climate-change debate

I've heard that organization name bantered about on the news all the time, the Sierra club. Everytime I hear a spokesperson from that organization I feel like throttling them, because anything that they say are outright lies regarding global climate change and how man is affecting the environment.
I am glad to hear that facts from both sides of this issue are now filtering down to kids. People have to know both sides of the argument before they can make an educated decision as to whether or not this global climate change 'fad' is believable or not. I've taken a look at both sides of the argument, and I've come to the conclusion that the environmentalists are wrong on all accounts. It wasn't easy either, as facts from the nay sayers are hard to come by. Again, I don't consider us 'skeptics', I still refer to people like you and I as well informed people who do not follow or listen to one sided biased information (I avoid using the term 'facts' when it comes to environmentalists, as I firmly believe the information the say are not facts but exaggerated information made to deceive the public). |

my theory as to why environmentalists don't want the real facts of global climate change reaching the kids is that the environmentalists know the facts they spew are nothing but lies, and anyone can drive a Mack truck thru the loopholes in the environmentalists arguments. I firmly believe that both sides of the argument should reach the public, so people can make an informed decision regarding this fad. |

I unfortunately feel different here, doing a Uni course with hardcore Environmentalists as both peers and teachers I feel that they honestly don't know the error, they honestly believe it to be infallible - it depresses me to say it too

But does Al Gore really believe this stuff? I'd say absolutely not, and it's not going out on a limb. Follow the money. What he's doing is the equivalent of insider trading. He's making movies, touring the country (spewing out co2 all the while, by the way), speaking in front of Congress, scaring the hell out of people & trying to make them feel guilty for merely living their daily lives. He continues to push for a carbon trading market. And for all his humanitarian efforts, the guy is living in a mansion, lining his pockets with millions that he's charged for public appearances -- all the while dodging Lord Monckton's challenge for a scientific debate. Where are those millions now? The Media Ignore Al Gore's Planned Global Warming Profiteering | NewsBusters.org He could care less about the environment. He knows exactly what he's doing.

But you have to admit, it is a good way to get rich, to make up some crap and attach the green label to it, people will buy it, and that is exactly what gore is doing. |
