Default Global Temperatures to...wait, BBC Changes Story

BBC NEWS | Science/Nature | Global warming 'dips this year'

Quote:
Global temperatures will drop slightly this year as a result of the cooling effect of the La Nina current in the Pacific, UN meteorologists have said.

The World Meteorological Organization's secretary-general, Michel Jarraud, told the BBC it was likely that La Nina would continue into the summer.

This would mean global temperatures have not risen since 1998, prompting some to question climate change theory.

But experts say we are still clearly in a long-term warming trend - and they forecast a new record high temperature within five years.

And they call people like me "deniers."

yep, same argument used by these enviro-freaks, that is we're still in a warming trend because of man's waste.

I've mentioned this once before and i'll say it again, if weather forecasters can't even predict weather with 100% certainty, what gives these environmentalists the illusion they can predict the climate in 5 years time ??

Check this out. The BBC changed the article after I quoted it here to pacify the AGW crowd, apparently:

BBC Changes 'Temperatures Decrease' Article to Incite Climate Hysteria | NewsBusters.org

The paragraph I quoted is GONE.

Hat tip to ICECAP for bringing this to our attention.

More is coming out. This is borderline fascist.

Awww, you poor dear. Are those meanie-weenie skeptics making Josey-wosey work? We're not so bad. In fact, we're willing to sell you some labor offsets.

For every hour of extra work we add to your daily payload, we'll sell you some labor offsets, during which time we'll leave you alone while you turn your power off, sit in the dark and stare at the wall.

It's a win-win. And think of the energy you'll save.

According to Jennifer Marohasy's blog, the BBC is refusing to respond to this.

But that hasn't stopped Glenn Beck from jumping on it. Heh.

I have shared this with many of my myspace folk.

I am begining to question their 'programming'. Including my previous ex-collegues at the University of Utah.

Their programming is faulty...and full of hubris (and funding of course).

Too bad the lag of unprogramming on a level of society takes a long time...but at least it's an exponential function rather than a linear one.

The more people are convinced of a higher logic (doubting AGW), than simply believing...the faster something can fall.

But money controls the world...and if someone paid me $300 million to convince the world of something...even I, might be inclined to lie!

$300 million would allow me to say "screw you guys, I'm going home." Forever. And not work at all. To surive better than anyone else...and we all know that suriving is our primary drive as humans. All altruism aside.

But this debate is interesting...and makes for interesting debates on who's better than who. Being human's great ain't it?
