Rules of the Board - Please Read!

The Rules:

*NOTE: TO PREVENT SPAM FROM AUTOMATED ROBOTS, YOU CANNOT POST A NEW THREAD UNTIL YOU HAVE MADE 5 RESPONSES TO POSTS ELSEWHERE IN THE FORUM. IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO INTRODUCE YOURSELF, YOU WILL NEED TO REPLY TO A POST IN THE INTRODUCTIONS FORUM.

Global Warming, Climate Change, whatever you want to call it, is a contentious issue. So while you're enjoying the debate & discussion here, please take note of the following rules:


1. I do not allow personal attacks on any forum. This rule has been modified.

I am confident you can tell the difference between personal attacks and heated debate and/or sarcasm, but if you are ever unsure about whether a post or poster is crossing the line, it is usually best to ask me.

General stereotypes and "poking fun" are allowed in the Mesosphere; however, if it gets too personal, you will be warned to cease & desist, else face the consequences.

2. Censorship is turned off for now; however, excessive profanity is not necessary and will not be tolerated.

3. SPAM will not be tolerated and will ordinarily result in permanent ban from this forum. This includes posting links to other blogs, political forums, or the like, for the sole purpose of advertising said site.

This does not include articles you'd like to post for discussion. I could care less if it's from a blog that mirrors the purpose of this site as long as the subject matter is useful for discussion here. I don't even care if you wrote it yourself. If it's relevant, feel free.

4. One exception to the above rule: if you have your own skeptics blog or website (excluding a similar forum), feel free to introduce yourself. We're all in this together.

5. Articles from other websites used in discussions should never be copied & pasted in their entirety; however, quoting relevant excerpts is allowed. Links should always be provided if available.
